2. ERNE: A SHOT WHERE THE PLAYER JUMPS OUTSIDE THE SIDELINE TO VOLLEY THE BALL NEAR THE NET, BYPASSING THE KITCHEN RULES1.
3. AROUND THE POST (ATP): A SHOT THAT GOES AROUND THE NET POST AND LANDS IN THE OPPONENT’S COURT2.
4. DINK: A SOFT SHOT THAT LANDS IN THE OPPONENT’S KITCHEN, FORCING THEM TO HIT UPWARDS.
5. THIRD SHOT DROP: A SOFT SHOT AIMED TO LAND IN THE OPPONENT’S KITCHEN, TYPICALLY USED AS THE THIRD SHOT OF A RALLY.
6. LOB: A HIGH, ARCHING SHOT THAT SENDS THE BALL OVER THE OPPONENT’S HEAD, AIMING FOR THE BACK OF THE COURT.
