Source: USA Pickleball approved paddle list, captured October 23, 2026. Our copy holds 5,369 of 5,397 listed models, so this table may miss some models of the brand.

JOOLA builds its range from two choices: a shape family and a series. The family fixes the outline and size; the series fixes the construction and price. The JOOLA approved-models table shows which JOOLA models are on the USA Pickleball approved list, how they split by core thickness, shape and face, and links each one to its official entry.

How is the JOOLA line-up organised?

On joola.com the paddles are sorted «By Shape» — Perseus, Hyperion, Scorpeus, Agassi, Kosmos, Magnus, Radius — and «By Series»: POWER FX, Pro V, Pro IV, 3S, Gen 1 and Vision. Graf models are sold alongside them in the Pro, Edge and Champion lines. A model name usually combines the two, plus the core thickness: «Scorpeus Pro IV 16mm» is the Scorpeus outline, Pro IV construction, 16 mm core.

The sizes JOOLA lists fall into four groups:

Family Length × width (JOOLA) How JOOLA describes the shape
Perseus, Hyperion, Agassi, Graf 16.5 × 7.5 in elongated (Pro V pages)
    Magnus 16.5 × 7.5 in not stated
    Kosmos 16.3 × 7.7 in hybrid
    Scorpeus 16 × 8 in standard
    Radius 15.8 × 8.2 in not stated

Every size stays inside the USA Pickleball limit: length plus width no more than 24 inches and length no more than 17 inches (Equipment Standards Manual, rule 2.E.3). The approved list records its own shape label for each entry; the JOOLA approved-models table shows it.

    What separates the series?

JOOLA's product pages describe the construction of each series in its own words:

    • Pro V pages list a polypropylene core with carbon fiber and EVA foam, a «KineticFrame» that JOOLA says is inspired by kick-point engineering in hockey sticks and golf clubs, and a textured carbon fiber face. On 23 October 2026 the Pro V paddles cost $299.95 on joola.com.
    • Pro IV pages list a polypropylene core with an EVA foam wall and a textured carbon face; the standard Pro IV models cost $149.95 on the same date, signature editions more.
    • 3S pages list a «Charged Carbon» face and the 3S Dual a carbon friction surface; JOOLA describes the 3S Dual as certified for both a USA Pickleball standard and «UPA-A pro-sanctioned play». Prices were $99.95 to $199.95.
    • POWER FX is what JOOLA calls its «first full-foam pickleball paddle»: an EPP foam core, 16 mm, at $179.95.
    • Vision and Edge models are the lower price steps, from $34.95 (Graf Edge 16mm) to $119.95 (Double Vision), and the Champion 12 mm fiberglass paddles were $20.95.

Weights on the JOOLA pages sit between 7.8 and 8.4 ounces. Thicker versions of the same model are listed slightly heavier: the Perseus Pro IV is 7.9 oz at 14 mm and 8.1 oz at 16 mm.

How do you read a JOOLA name on the approved list?

The store name and the list name are often not the same. The joola.com page «Perseus Pro IV 16mm» matches the list entry «Perseus IV 16mm»; signature editions with a player's name are usually listed under their base model. Search the shorter name in the approval check if the full store name finds nothing.

On 23 October we found no entry with the same name for some models sold on joola.com, among them the Hyperion CFS 16mm, the Perseus CFS and the Scorpeus 3S 14mm. That does not mean they are not approved: the list may use a different name. For sanctioned play, look the model up on the official list or ask the tournament director before you buy.

    Which JOOLA fits which player?

Read the specs, not the series price. A thicker 16 mm core is the usual choice for control and comfort, a 14 mm core for a quicker, livelier response — that is our rule of thumb, not a JOOLA or USA Pickleball rule. The wider Scorpeus and Radius trade reach for a broader face; the 16.5-inch families give reach and leverage. A newer player rarely needs the top series: the Edge and Vision models share the outlines of the Pro models at a fraction of the price.

How to check a specific model before buying

    1. Find the exact model and thickness in the approval check or in the JOOLA table.
    2. Open the official entry from the table and compare the model name with the box or listing.
    3. Compare JOOLA's listed weight, grip circumference and handle length with what you play now.
    4. Keep the receipt: approval is per model, and lists change as new paddles are added.

The paddle finder narrows the whole approved list by thickness, shape and face if you are not set on JOOLA.

    Questions

Are JOOLA paddles approved for tournaments?

Many are: the JOOLA approved-models table lists every JOOLA model on our copy of the USA Pickleball approved list, with the link to each official entry. Approval is per model and thickness, so check the exact name — a 14mm and a 16mm version are separate entries.

What is the difference between Pro IV and Pro V?

They are two JOOLA series. On its Pro V pages JOOLA lists a KineticFrame, a propulsion core and a polypropylene core with carbon fiber and EVA foam; the Pro IV pages list a polypropylene core with an EVA foam wall. On 23 October 2026 the Pro V models cost $299.95 and the standard Pro IV models $149.95 on joola.com.

Which JOOLA shape is the widest?

By JOOLA's own dimensions, the Radius (15.8 × 8.2 inches) and the Scorpeus (16 × 8 inches) are the widest; the Perseus, Hyperion, Agassi, Graf and Magnus are 16.5 × 7.5 inches. A wider face usually means a shorter paddle, because length plus width may not exceed 24 inches.
